It was initiated in 1996 and is celebrated every year on the last Wednesday of April as 'International Noise Awareness Day'.

Research shows that children who are educated in a suitable physical environment and learning environment are more successful in reading, listening, language development 
and mathematics. Students in our country spend approximately 2,000 hours a year in schools that lack acoustic design and sound insulation. Research shows that the noise 
level in schools can reach up to twice the upper limits specified in the regulation. The goal of this project is to contribute to the children of our country, as in all developed countries,
to have a healthy learning environment, which is their most natural right. Purpose of the research:

To evaluate the effect of noise level in the school by making acoustic parameter measurements in schools with and without sound insulation.
To develop, implement and evaluate a training program that will contribute to reducing the noise level in the school by raising awareness and awareness about noise and its effects
caused by bells or other devices and equipment in the building, especially the noise caused by the behavior of students.
To examine the effect of the training and activities carried out to prevent noise pollution in schools on the awareness and sensitivity of school administrators, teachers and students.
