The Economics Department provides students with knowledge of economic theories and their applications in daily life and on a global scale. Core topics in our department include microeconomics (decisions of individuals and businesses) and macroeconomics (the functioning of nations and overall economies). Students are also introduced to economic growth, employment, inflation, monetary policies, international trade, and development. The Economics Department equips students with analytical thinking skills, preparing them for career opportunities in the public and private sectors, academia, and non-governmental organizations.
